Canine Summer

Lorne's mother, Bernice, and aunt, Marilyn, flew up for a 2-night visit so they could see their cousin Paul Bliss perform as a member of the Moody Blues. Bernice had taken Leo for us until Lorne went to NB last summer and got him so it's been a full year since she's seen him.

I went to visit Karen, Kyle and canine company.

This is Harley girl who I've known since 1996:


And this is Emme, Karen's and Kyle's new puppy:


Harley isn't doing very well these days. She was diagnosed with cancer in May but has lived several weeks longer than was expected. She has good days and bad. I had to go see ol' Harley girl for what may have been the last time:

Rex sleeps on Brittany's bed often... probably more than she does.


All 3 dogs have made claim to Brittany's bed:


Today, they decide to wrestle on the bed:

Just one more night in Pickering.... Then the dogs get to check out their new back yard and neighbours.

The dogs will be with us on our last trip to Oshawa. Then they'll then be our Oshawa Pets....
